The government has now made facemasks and face covering compulsory in shops and confined spaces

Police will enforce the new law - which will come into effect after being passed by the government - from later this month, with £100 fines for anybody flouting the rules.

London Mayor Sadiq Khan, who has been pressing for face coverings to be made mandatory, said ministers should not wait until July 24.

Currently, face masks are required on public transport and on hospital and prison visits - but will now be rolled out across the country to shops, too.

Restaurants and pubs, at the moment, remain exempt from the new rules, which have become law rather than just becoming 'guidelines'.

We are happy to announce teaming up with Mask Me and GOAT Ldn who both specialise in Face masks and making them look stylish but yet still safe.
